Welcome To The CareLab Podcast
Feeling a little.... squished?
Find some relief with CareLab! Hosted by two members of the "Sandwich generation" (who also happen to be occupational therapists), CareLab takes a lighthearted look into some of the biggest issues affecting function, safety, (sanity), and quality of life.
Dr. Brandy Archie and Emilia Bourland , Host of the CareLab Podcast!
Dr Brandy received her doctorate in occupational therapy from Creighton University and is a certified Living in Place Professional. Dr. Archie has over 15 years of experience in home health and elder-focused practice settings, which led her to start AskSAMIE, a curated digital marketplace to make aging in place possible for anyone. It puts clinicians, adaptive equipment, senior care services, and education all in one place and uses tech to match clients with the right tools to meet their needs. She's also the founder of AccessAble Living, a service-based business that adapts environments to fit the needs of older adults and serves clients in person in the Kansas City area.
Meet Emilia Bourland, OTR, ECHM, CFPS
